The poll, which asked 400 Republican primary voters in Iowa’s 4th Congressional District and was commissioned by Public Opinion Strategies, found that 41% currently support state Sen. Randy Feenstra, versus 39% backing King.

“Among self‐identified ‘conservative’ voters, King leads by one point and among ‘moderate’ and ‘liberal’ GOP primary voters, Feenstra holds a 12‐point advantage,” wrote the poll authors. “Feenstra leads in the Sioux City market by 21 points, King leads in the Des Moines market by 10 points and across the other markets in the district by 18 points.”
