Public Opinion Strategies is seeking to fill a Project Director position in our Old Town Alexandria location. To be considered you must have previous survey or market research experience, and candidates with previous campaign or public policy experience will be given first consideration.

The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, well organized, detail-oriented, able to work and thrive in a high-stress fast-paced environment with the ability to handle multiple assignments with tight deadlines. Strong computer skills are essential.

The position offers the opportunity to build skills in opinion research and data analysis by playing an important role in the creation of reports for clients. A project director manages and implements all phases of research projects. Responsibilities include: client and vendor contact, drafting proposals, cost analysis, sample design, questionnaire design, field work, data processing, detailed analysis and report writing.

Successful candidates should be data driven and have a strong desire to work with numbers; a bachelor’s degree in political science, marketing, statistics, or related field is required. Applicant must have knowledge of analytical techniques, excellent oral and written communication skills, and the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects.
