Public Opinion Strategies uses various research methods and techniques to help our clients obtain answers to their questions. Obviously we write questionnaires but some of our projects are conducted over the phone or online, depending on the client and the audience. We also conduct a great deal of qualitative research to understand how people talk about issues or react to ideas or concepts. This type of research is typically conducted in a focus group setting either in person or online, but we also conduct in-depth interviews with subject matter experts.
Some of our services include developing and testing the effectiveness of messages for clients to use in their campaign, testing language for ballot initiatives or policy ideas, measuring reactions to advertising, and determining where our clients need to focus their resources to have the most impact. Choosing the appropriate research methodology depends upon each clients particular needs.
