Americans report attending religious services less frequently than they have in the past. The decline in the number of Americans saying they attend services “once a week or more often” and the corresponding rise in the number of Americans saying they “never” attend services has been especially noticeable over the past decade. There are strong differences by party identification and ideology, and a very interesting difference between White Democrats and non-White Democrats.
