Public Opinion Strategies wishes to congratulate David Granger, the new President of Guyana.  Sworn in on Saturday May 16th, David Granger and his Partnership for National Unity/Alliance for Change coalition represents the first time the Government has changed hands since 1992.

Granger led the APNU/AFC multi-ethnic coalition to victory on May 11, breaking many of the identity barriers that have traditionally dominated Guyanese elections.
