Glen is one of only two people to be a three‑time winner of the “Republican Pollster of the Year” award from the American Association of Political Consultants, winning the prestigious award for his work in 2002, 2009, and 2012.
In 2022, Glen polled for the crucial Senate Leadership Fund effort to help J.D. Vance win the U.S. Senate race in Ohio. Glen also did the polling for re-elected Senator Mike Crapo and new Congressman Chuck Edwards of North Carolina, who defeated controversial Republican incumbent Madison Cawthorn in the marquee GOP primary of the year. Glen also polled in multiple highly competitive and successful U.S. House races throughout the country.
In 2020, Glen polled for two victorious U.S. Senate races, Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Mike Rounds of South Dakota. Tillis was a top target of national Democrats in their attempt to flip the Senate. Just like in 2014, Tillis confounded the pundits by beating his favored Democratic opponent.
In 2018, Glen polled for two come‑from‑behind Governor’s races in Georgia and South Dakota, as well as three winning U.S. Senate races, and a SuperPAC for a winning Gubernatorial race. Glen also polled for more than 20 Republican Members of Congress, including four new members.
In 2016, Glen polled for candidates, SuperPACs, and Independent Expenditures in twelve U.S. Senate races, of which eleven Republicans won, including top tier races of North Carolina, Wisconsin, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Ohio. Glen also polled for the successful GOP takeover of the Minnesota State Senate, and more than 20 successful Congressional campaigns.
In state legislative races, Glen has polled for successful Republican legislative candidates in Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Virginia, and Washington State.
Glen’s corporate polling experience includes crisis management polling for some of the top issues in recent years, as well as image and message work for major clients such as Wal‑Mart, Bank of America, BlueCross BlueShield of Florida, Tyson Foods, BNSF Railway, the Catholic Health Association, Campaign for Tobacco Free Kids, the American Petroleum Institute, the Conservative Energy Network, and numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Prior to co‑founding Public Opinion Strategies, Glen was the Director of Survey Research & Analysis for the National Republican Congressional Committee, the political arm of the House Republican Conference. He is a graduate of The American University in Washington, D.C. Glen and his wife Carol have three adult daughters. Glen’s hobbies include travel and travel blogging, kayaking, photographing bald eagles, hiking, and being a sports fan.
