The latest NBC-WSJ poll, conducted February 24-28 among 1,000 national adults, is packed full of interesting data and information. The poll examines Americans’ views on public employees, their benefits and bargaining structure; the current budget fight in Congress; the possibility of a government shut-down, and; a thorough read on the programs and items where budget cuts are acceptable and where they are not. The poll looks at how the public feels Obama is doing handing the situation(s) throughout the Middle East and how they have impacted the prospects of peace in the region. Looking forward to 2012, the poll also measures Obama’s re-election prospects, the GOP Presidential Primary Pool, and two head-to-heads with Governors Mitt Romney and Tim Pawlenty.
