In the latest NBC-WSJ poll, conducted January 13-17 among 1,000 national adults, Obama’s job approval is up as is his image. Looking forward, this month’s results include signs that the public is more optimistic about the future of the country though still cognizant of the current economic troubles we face. Across the 2012 GOP field, the poll finds Romney and Huckabee are functionally tied among Republicans and independents, with Palin rounding out the top three of a 10 candidate field.
