According to the new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll, conducted October 28-30, Republicans are positioned for very large gains Tuesday and are expected to retake control of the House and pick up seats in the Senate, amid strong voter frustration with President Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, and the Democratic-run Congress. Bill McInturff said Sunday the poll results “project a larger election for Republicans than 1994,” and Peter Hart said the poll shows “The Democrats are about to feel the full force of a tidal wave, tsunami and a 7.0 earthquake,” and Monday morning on MSNBC’s The Rundown, Fred Yang summed these results up as “a referendum” not only on Obama and Pelosi, but “on the entire Democratic Party.”
