The latest NBC News Poll, conducted by Public Opinion Strategies and Hart Research Associates, summarizes the disappointing first year of the Biden presidency. In addition to the president’s bleak approval rating at just 43%, 36% said Biden’s presidency has been worse than expected and only 5% say it has been better than expected.

The nationwide poll surveyed 1,000 adults, including 600 cell phone respondents, from January 14-18, 2022. Read the full survey results here.
