Public Opinion Strategies is pleased to announce that George Nassar has joined the firm as a Vice President.  For the last two cycles, George served as Regional Political Director at the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC).

At the NRCC, Nassar led a team advising incumbent and challenger campaigns across 18 states in the Southeast and West Coast. In the 2016 cycle, George successfully advised four incumbents in Toss Up districts and three others in highly competitive races.

“We are pleased to have George Nassar join our team here at Public Opinion Strategies,” said managing partner Bill McInturff.  “George’s experience in tough races, and his focus on the importance of polling and data analytics is the perfect complement to what we focus on for our candidates and clients.”

Nassar got his start at the NRCC serving as Regional Field Director for the Southeast during the historic Republican takeover of the House of Representatives in 2010. He also held roles as a utility player for the NRCC’s political team and an advisor to the strategy department where he focused on voter targeting. He previously managed a statewide race in Mississippi and a targeted State Senate race in Virginia.

George is a native of Memphis, Tennessee and a graduate of the University of Mississippi.

“I’m honored to join Public Opinion Strategies after working closely with the firm for multiple cycles, helping win some of the most competitive races in the country,” said Nassar.  “I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience to Public Opinion Strategies and continue assisting Republican campaigns across the country.”
