College basketball fans give a thumbs down to tournament expansion

In a survey released yesterday by Public Opinion Strategies, a solid majority (59%) of basketball fans oppose expanding the NCAA tournament from a 64 team tournament to a 96 team tournament.  Just 29% of college basketball fans support expansion and ten percent are undecided.

GOP Now Holds Sizable Lead on the Generic Ballot. . .

For the first time since June 2003, the Republican candidate has a five point lead on the generic ballot in a new survey conducted for NPR by Public Opinion Strategies and Greenberg, Quinlan, Rosner and Associates.  The Republican candidate has a 44%-39% advantage.
